Melissa Forsythe
Board President
Sept. 2025 - Present
For over 17 years, Melissa has played in local bands, gaining experience and forming connections in the music scene. In 2013, she founded Hot Jam, a music festival that showcases local talent and raises money for non-profits focused on music education. Her passion for music led her to work at Rainbow Records, a 45 year old Newark based record store, where she became the owner in 2022. Besides continuing her work putting together festivals and events, she also DJ's at local events and is a helping hand as a videographer and the Community Outreach Organizer of the Koh Show.

Julia Sipple
Board Vice President
Sept. 2025- Present
Growing up in a family of creatives, Julia has always been surrounded by music. Starting out operating sound equipment in school, she realized that a crucial support role was necessary to create a successful event, and found her home in live music production and organization. Her experience in local events led her to the Koh Show, contributing to the videography and administration teams, and assisting local non-profits with fundraising and event planning. These passions inspired her to team up with Melissa to start their own organization to better serve the community, the Original Musical Association of Delaware.

Chrissy Morgan is a long time supporter of the Delaware music scene, and has been getting people connected to local music as well as popular music through working at Rainbow Records.
